FAQ about WIS International
What do you do at WIS International?
Inventory Associates work part-time taking inventory for our
customers (major grocers like Kroger, HEB, etc.). They scan UPC barcodes with a laser gun and enter quantities into a 10-key data
collector, which is worn around the waist.
What shifts do you offer? How many hours will I
get?
The shifts we are currently offering are Monday thru Friday,
early morning to early afternoon. A typical inventory lasts 5 to 6 hours.
How will I know my schedule?
Your schedule is available over the internet 10 days to 2 weeks
in advance. You are expected to show up for all inventories that you are
scheduled for, as long as they are within your stated availability.
How do I get to the job site?
You are expected to have reliable transportation and meet
at all job sites. For travel stores, you may have the option
of meeting at the local office and riding the van to the job site.
Is
there a dress code?
Yes, we require a professional appearance at all times.
Inventory specialists must provide themselves with dark slacks or black
jeans, solid dark shoes, and either a solid navy blue or solid white polo
shirt. Athletic shoes are acceptable, but must be solid black. You must be
in dress code to attend training/orientation.
How much does the job pay?
Inventory Associates start off at $7.00 per hour, with the
exception of the first 32 hours of their employment, which is paid at
minimum wage ($5.15 per hour). This includes training classes, and
on-the-job training. Your productivity will be evaluated every 90
days; based on that evaluation you may earn pay increases up to $12.60 per
hour. (The Houston team starts at $8.25 per hour with merit increases $13.85
per hour)
